He graduated in Mechanical Engineering and he received the PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Ferrara, being part of the Mechanics and Vibration Research Group. During his academic career, he has been a visiting researcher at the Structures and Environmental Testing Research Group of Siemens Industry Software, Belgium, focussing his research on advanced vibration control strategies and multi-axial dynamic testing. His expertise is in the fields of structural dynamics and NVH analysis, with special reference to experimental vibration measurements and environmental testing.
