He holds the MSc in Mechanical Engineering and the PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Ferrara. He was involved in the PhD program with the Mechanics and Vibration Research Group, addressing his research activity on diagnostics and prognostic of rotating machines and mechanical systems. During his PhD studies, he has been the person in charge of several collaborations with private companies to bring the academic know-how from research to field implementation. His main skills concern advanced signal processing techniques, condition monitoring and software development.
